Process Miner Overview

The Process Miner is the core component within the Workflow Optimizer. It provides an x-ray view of the lifecycle of the underlying issues assocaited with a Workflow Mode. The events associated with the selected Activity are extracted and transformed into a visual diagram highlighting the activities, steps and variants associated with the events

A variant represents a distinct set of activities associated with a workflow. For example, Open to In Progress to Resolved to Closed is a sequence of 3 steps (Open to In Progress, In Process to Resolved and Resolved to Closed) and has 4 activities (Open, In Progress, Resolved and Closed.

The default view in the Process Miner shows the 10 top variants based on volume of issues
