Discovery

Discovery relates to indentifying activities, steps and variants based on conditional metrics. The concept is to let the Process Optimizer discover opportunities and problems i.e. issues with steps having at least 10 issues and a standard deviation of less than 1 hr may be a candiate for automation. This is as opposed to filters where presumptions are made prior to application i.e. you select to show variants and issues having a specific step with an average duration > than x.

Discovery examples include:

Variants that contain more than 2 transition loops
Activities with < x issues
Steps where the standard deviation is < 1 hours
